Description
This was a lot of custom work, much more so than Nall was. Original sprite was from the Lunar Legend game (ref sheet here: [link] ).

Having become *intimately* familiar with Luna's costume design, however, I decided to add some detail to her dress. I added the brown boots, the purple sash, and the blue/white designs on the skirt, and modified the headscarf colors.

I have begun to realize the challenge in Perler art - since there are a very limited palette of colors, you have to make some compromises in shading. I tried to use fewer black outlines, partly to conserve beads and partly to make a prettier design. However, since you aren't limited to a finite number of colors as game designers are in sprites, you can add whatever shades you like, as long as you've got the beads!

Just a fun tidbit: Luna's eyes glow in the dark. ^^
