So many intriguing aspects to this piece. It's well-constructed and captures a very ethereal loneliness - perhaps dismay. This is of course my projection into it...
I like how your photographer chose the direction of your subject's gaze away from the camera and out one of multiple openings. Despite there existing huge expanses of openness, that tiny, distant focus was chosen. Really gives the work a sense of interrupted reverie.
I also like the overexposure/overbrightness of the gable with its contrast against the ceiling.
There's a worn feel in this photograph, from the subject's clothing to the nails from the shingles and the cutaway view. Nicely done.
