Because, when I was in a different room, a new Pokemon idea had hit me, and I surprisingly had thought of Ash having a different childhood friend (not a human) who was a Pokemon, whom he met before Pikachu after many years later. I like the idea of Ash having a Starter Pokemon for a different childhood friend, and I think my Goh-hating friends might like this new Pokemon idea I have.
