Description
This is a drawing of the cover of 'Electra Heart' by Marina & the Diamonds (2012). I drew it with a biro and a black and grey felt-tip pen. I then edited it in GIMP to give it a weird 3D effect.
This was one of my favourite albums of 2012. It's one big witty, sarcastic take on love, youth and identity which seamlessly interweaves Marina's real-life heartache with her tough, bitchy, homewrecking alter-ego, Electra Heart. It unsurprisingly went straight to #1 in the UK and features Marina's highest charting single yet, 'Primadonna'.
One of my favourite songs from the album is 'Teen Idle', a firm fan-favourite...
