Gorgeous Love the colours.

Do you find inktense like using watercolour?  I've been thinking of trying the inktense but I'm not a watercolour fan so I'm not sure if they'd be better...or just different (I like strong colours and detail and watercolours don't cut it for me)

i used not to care for water colors because i was not good at it, but recently i am really into it because it has such a free kind of spirit, i usually let the paint do it's thing and let it paint itself (sounds kind of weird) but you can get so much amazing effects with watercolors as there are so many techniques that come with it, but the inktense are a bit more opaque i think and they are permanent once dry so you can layer them without disturbing the previous layers (unlike watercolor paint) i really like the inktense because of this the only minus point about them is their poor light fastness :/

Maybe I'll give the blocks a try one day and see how I get on with them.  The lightfast thing is an issue, but I understand you can get around it with UV sprays or UV glass?  Although I don't know how expensive they are to get...

i don't know, i suppose it could work but never the less i would never use them or other materials that are not light fast for commissions or sales pieces, i keep pieces like these stored in a map and may sell prints of them one day
