So, a few days ago while performing my periodical search on the name "Christie", I ran into this entry to DOA EU's create your own costume, which apparently was going on for well over a month, very open as far as rules go by. Felt kinda stupid for not knowing about it any earlier, there's a chance the winners may get their work sent to Team Ninja.

To me... even something as vague as a chance would be enough reason to try... because let's be honest, it's a opportunity to link yourself to the character even if in the most distant connection.

Anyways.
I felt split between whether to stay within Christie's visual concept or to push it, and try to go out of it, like a friend (Gustavo) said, if TN wanted a suit that looked like something already existing in-game, they wouldn't hold a contest for it.

So, I believe Christie's visual concept to be punk, racer suits, and some sort of British stereotype (judging from her tuxedo and coat suits), with that in mind, I tried to work these ideas, so...

I had some fun with the casual look idea, they range from very casual to a light punk, DOA 4 introduced this idea that the casual Christie wears punk, except for piercings and over the top make up (thank god), so I like to think of it as a soft punk.

Then you get a training suit, a social one which I wish I had worked on a lot further, 2 racing suits, (the orange one was the actual first attempt, the dark one was based of it, I guess it looked better by the end.) a Race Queen suit (pretty different from the ones you see on the net, but I guess it transmits the idea well enough) a high-tech-ish suit (I recall Ayane has something like this, so I figured, if Ayane can get one for no good enough reason, Christie can too.) and by last but not least something of a clusterfuck between British and punk a Steam Punk (all though I think it failed into looking Steam Punk, I guess it doesn't have enough bronze, goggles and watches).

despite of the amount of thought I've give into this, probably my favorites are the very first Casual (beats me, I guess the idea of Christie wearing very light shirt/blouses tickles me in a fun way).
Racer (because it captures the idea of cat-suit with open front, which is a established view of Christie while still being different from the existing ones)
Tech (I think it adds to her curves while still not turning her into a stripper), and Race Queen ( same reason as above, also I felt this looked really original with the way the flag twirls and... the way the flag twirls... ).
