Description
This was inspired by Unreal Tournament levels. It's a research HQ on some distant planet that's completely covered in ice. People are drilling through the ice to examine the ocean below the icy surface. Who knows what they'll find, maybe another picture will tell that some day
I'm no good at painting geometric forms, so this was abit of a learning process for me. Polygonal lasso-tool proved to be useful... There are alot of perspective errors because I didn't plan this very well.
Photoshop CS3, ~8 hours.

I have a hard time seeing this and not thinking of The Empire Strikes Back, which is actually a great thing. Nicely done.
