....Kit just suits the grubby, tattered splendour victorian style that dominated Oliver Twist. it's something about the tophats - and the accent. and i have a strong feeling she could drink Bill Sykes under the table.

Kit, aka Catherine Bates, is female by the way. She is the heroine of Thief's Honour, my comic. This picture was inspired by a production of Jekyll and Hyde i recently saw - and a very long train journey. oh, and an excess of Sandman comics.

dumping Kit in the middle of the london slums would have been VERY amusing. but perhaps not for the inhabitants.
