Description So I am starting a series of concepts based on 80s characters called "80s Reviver series". Going to go through as many as possible and give them all an upgrade in design. Hope you all like this one

so many memories ^^ i remember me and my brother having his action figure toy, complete with the space-diligence and one of those strange cow-looking robot horses xD and it was often in the commercial ads on the covers of the "Topolino" (Mickey Mouse, a monthly disney comics ... uhm i dunno if the term "magazine" is correct ^^') issues from the 80's, which i used to read a lot -manly tear-

my favourites will always be Masters of Universe with Skeletor's absurde voice, but Bravestarr was so cool too XD

and sorry, i got into nostalgia mode xD your rendition of the character is totally badass, i like the concept a lot it's not easy to rethink oldies-but-goldies, most of times the result is forgettable, but your art style and your design totally work imho ^^

Thanks a lot, really great to hear comments from someone that felt the same as me as when I used to remember these cartoons, yep masters of the universe was another great one, thundercats, defenders of the earth and she-ra too

I love a well thought out concept!  This is one cartoon that I would love to see updated and revived- its too bad that your ideas will probably never be considered for such a project- they'll just have to exist here!  Thanks for sharing your talent!

Yeah would be great to see the show get a face-lift and restarted. Its my pleasure and you never know, if its shared across the net enough times things can always start up

Sadly I gave up on the hope of the magic of Bravestarr, Dino-Riders and Silverhawks ever being revitalized a long time ago.  Some things, no matter how awesome just aren't meant to be.

Yeah true, but I'm glad I had them through my childhood though

Interesting design, turning the cowboy hat into a full on helmet...

Would it be safe to assume that his spirit animal powers would actually be cybernetic augmentation? The helmet would certainly be able to offer telescopic vision and enhenced audio sensors and the leg braces look like they could be there to engence is speed.

Yep, exactly what I was planning for, and also as his like a superhero, I thought it would be great to give him a mask for a hidden identity . Even the gloves have the extra gadgets for superior strength of a bear

He's an officer of the law though, so going hidden identity might not be fully ethical... But it certainly is a cool design.

Yeah I understand that part also, but another reason the mask was on was because of the speeds he runs, for protection in the sandy desert environments, thanks

Very interesting take on Bravestarr.  I'm guessing under that new head gear that protects him from the harsh conditions of "New Texas", there's a handsome, dark skinned, strong jawed Native American fellow?

Yep it is. I did indeed take into consideration the conditions of the environment and his communication gadget. Also the tough conditions he gets into to allow extra protection. Then there is the thing of giving him an anonymity when encountering the baddies
