Inspired by the Netflix Show Sweet Home I decided to come up with a little concept for a monster.

So, here we have the Spike Monster concept. It comes from a person's desire to be able to stand up to hurtful comments they have received in life and fight back against them. Hence the horns it uses in attack and also its shoulder spikes which it will shoot out of its body to sting and immobilise prey. Also the alligator like scales of its lower body and tough hide to give it a "thick skin" against attackers. Unlike most monsters this one does not actively hunt humans and were you to encounter it the thing would mostly ignore you; preferring to bask in a warm area like a reptile. However, should it sense hostility in the area i.e. raised voiced and name calling it will become agitated and go on the attack.

Has concepts go I was happy with how it turned out as a first time creation. If i was to perfect it might change the leg colour to a darker green or a closer shade to the overall body.
