I have the movie dragon heart but never watched it because i was not sure if the slay the dragon in the end or not. I might end up forcing myself to watch it so that i had seen it.
Nice dragon by the way. It is smiler to my old style that i use to do. I have not posted any of my old style just yet except for the first dragon that i attempted but I am working on one with my old style. I know what you mean when you say you cant find the colors that you want. I am starting to use jell pens but i don't have the colors to finish so i have to wait till my mother gets paid and that i get my work shop / art studio cleaned up. Cant wait till i do get it clean so that i can try using paints.

I'm on a comment binge at the moment, and I noticed I haven't given your art any praise of late, so I thought this one seemed like a good one to give you some luff on! After all... have I ever commented on your dragon work before? You may not know it, but I used to be the biggest dragon fanatic several years ago I used to draw them all the time, before I even started drawing anthro work! And wow... inspiration from Dragonheart eh? That used to be one of my favourite movies ever (I still do love it), and indeed, the dragons on there were just such design! I loved all their details, scales, and horns, and such. I also loved the dragon design on "The Pagemaster"'s dragon, but yeah. Wow, I like your whole color reasoning; who knew blue would look so nice on a dragon? The gold-tan works excellent with such rich blue. And very nice silvery grey spines on the neck as well! And his eye is both detailed and fierce, yet golden bright. The slight film-webbing on his wings are really neat by the way! It's cool how you gave it that shiny effect. And my goodness... I cannot get over how insanely awesome a job you did on all those tiny and large scales, markings on his skin! That is amazing. And all the coloring is just so deep and bright! All the dark tones, and bright rich tones... that is stunning! This rocks ever so much!

I love Dragonheart, its a good movie. X3
I love how rich that blue looks, you did an extremely good job with the shading and the intensity of it really makes the character look good. I really love how well his scaly bits were coloured, the way it contrasts really looks awesome. ;o; Really beautiful work on the facial structure, unique and wel defined.

Oh, it's amazing how you got the blue so strong, and the detail is really truely great. The emotion in his eye(s) has got me drooling.

Dude you rock when it comes to prisma pencils. You did a great job on the detailing of teh scales of the dragon and his design, blue is always a good color
My favorite part of his scales has to be the chest plating, I just like the way it's curved our like that

Very nice colours; I'm fond of blue and gold, myself. ^_^
I like the detail around the mouth, and the shading on the scales is wonderful. I also very much like the translucency of the wing membrane, while still giving it some depth, and not making it look like onion paper - (I always have trouble with that part).
I love the shape of the head.
And are you possibly thinking of the movie, Dragonheart? That had a Draco.
