Description
If you have read the amazing books by Robert Jordan, the Wheel of Time series, you should be able to recognize these three guys (I hope... XD). This is my interpretation of the main heroes of the story: Matrim Cauthon with his extraordinary luck, Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn, and Perrin Aybara, whose connection with wolves is a special ability he's got.I didn't get them 100 % the way I see them when I read the books, but it's close enough. I have a pure pencil-version of this picture as well in my Elfwood-gallery , but I think they look better with the colours I added digitally.

if you widened the brim of mat's hat this would be perfect

If I were to remake this drawing now, I would definitely widen the brim, as well as some other tweaks - hopefully I can get around to do some more fan art soon

the ashandarei blade could also use some reshaping to look more like a naginata.

I love this! Thank you. The only thing I think is odd is that Matt is wearing a purple scarf around his neck. I would imagine it being red and I think that would match the colour scheme of this piece much better. I know, its a really small thing to complain about but it just seemed odd to me. The aura idea is inspired - its as if Min is the viewer and we are seeing the three Ta'veren together from her point of view!

I know what you mean about drawing people from books, it's almost like you have to do random faces until you see bits of face you like haha.
That said, this is brilliant. Love Rand's outfit and Mat's smirk, just how I'd see it as well.

I actually love this!! You represent them perfectly!!! Rand has the right amount of "Aeil" look about him, and Matt looks so cheeky. For some reason I can never find what I think Perrin should look like... I can never really decide what he looks like myself, but I'm sure that you Absolutly nailed them all!!

rand shows the classic mysterious look that the Aiel kind suggest, and something in his expression makes him look bound to become mad..
I also like the irriverent smile in Mat's face and the auras.. the only one I found "weird" was Perrin, I thought of him as more "beastly" in dressing, too (hide apparel, and things like that)
Apart from my critic, this is truly a great concept, and I like this more than the other for something I don't understand
However, good job!!!

This drawing is starting to get quite old, but people tend to like it, for some reason. I remember being reeeally inspired when I drew it, so maybe that is the case, I don't know

Rand, besides the sort-of slicked back hair, is perfectly how I pictured him!
The other two, not so much, but they're still fantastic and still capture their characters.
Also, the circles of their things are a very nice touch.

I think Mat looks great, and so does Perrin, though a little older then I would have put him, but that's not really how I see rand.

We all have our own visions of the characters, so I think it's amazing that people share any of my visions at all ^^ This picture isn't quite true to my visions anymore, though, so I would recommend having a look at the newer painting I made of these guys
