I've drawn a few different versions of Rosedust, but now that I look back at the designs from nearly two years ago, I wonder why I ever thought it was good. If I'm going to draw my favorite pony, I have to do it right and give her the beautiful design that she deserves. Thus brings forth this creation.Related content

You know, my idea for Queen Rosedust is that she shares the same body figure & size of Celestia so she would be really tall, and her wings would be more butterfly-like, similar to the temporary wings that Rarity had back in the episode *Sonic Rain-Boom*(Twilight even started that Rarity's wings were made of Gossamer & Morning Dew, a clear reference to the Gossamer Wings of the G1 Flutter Ponies, which made me believe that it was Lauren Faust's idea to have those wings be the wings of FiM versions of the Flutter Ponies), and like the other Flutter Ponies Rosedust could illuminate her wings and unleash a power energy wave with 1 flap of her wings(a cooler & more powerful version of G1's "Utter-Flutter"), also like the other Flutter Ponies she could talk to animals like Fluttershy, and since she was a Flutter Pony, if her Wings were destroyed or anything they would just instantaneously grow right back(unlike Rarity's wings once they burned up, but despite the fact that she is well respected & junk, as for Rosedust's personality she wouldn't act like a typical queen or behave like a monarch, for a comedic twist she would act more like a hippy, sort of like how "Tree Hugger" acted, yet she would still be very wise & benevolent, but that's just my idea of how I think she should be portrayed if they ever revamp the Flutter Ponies for MLP:FiM.

I got a DVD as a 5 year old r something about an earlier generation, and Rosedust is like, a much much older v. of fluttershy, but Flutters is better.

I did make a theory about Fluttershy being part flutter-ponies. I kinda believe that Rosedust is the reason that the butterfly save younger Fluttershy that day.

But flutter ponies don't have control over butterflies. If any type of pony did, I would think that it would be a Windy Wing pony or a Summer Wing pony since those two types actually have butterfly like wings rather than just the thin shimmering wings that flutter ponies have.

Actually, Fluttershy looks like her since Rosedust was made first. Fluttershy's colors are based off the G1 pony named Posey, who shares a color scheme with the pony Rosedust. That is why they look similar.

They're kind of like fairy ponies in a way I suppose. They're basically slightly smaller ponies with very light and flimsy wings which contain magic. They live in Flutter Valley.
