Hotaru is the eldest son out of three siblings, who is introduced to be a high school student working part-time, whose mother, (who only cared about money and fame) left him, his siblings and his late father a long time ago. He was initially conceived to be an otome game character, and at one point, in his initial concepts, he happens to fall in love with a female character that only wore a long-sleeved shirt and a dress, but nothing has been heard from her since, to this day.

Wait... This isn't the first time I've covered a male character this much taller than me, but not only is he about six feet tall, but Hotaru has really defied all the odds of being one of the tallest characters of YunokiRoom, surpassing the vast majority of most characters, no matter their gender, including Yule, except for Yeowah and Wisteria, who are both the tallest characters of this project so far, at their combined heights of 334 cm (10 ft 11 in) and 350 cm (11 ft 5 in) respectively, that even Neoma, one of the tallest female characters overall, only reaches his forehead, and for me, I can only reach his shoulder.

Speaking of his main characteristics, it appears that he's interested in chemistry, math, geometry, video games and manga, so it's no joke how he likes them and somehow, he basically hates gold diggers and those who try to use others like as if they were their personal ATM, for some reason, yet, I feel bad for what he had gone through a long time ago since his mother basically left his father, him and his siblings a long time ago because of her selfish behavior. Anyways, moving on, he's quite smart, be it related to anything he's interested in like math, chemistry, his part-time job or anything in his life, and if you're good friends with him, he might invite you to one of his favorite places to hang out with one day.
