Hi Mara. I hope you don't mind I am using your image as the cover to a short story for a Wattpad BattleTheBeast contest entry. Others have asked bout using the image for book covers in this thread and you seem to be fine with it, so I hope that remains the same. The contest has a cash prize (which I am not likely to win LOL) however the cover and the popularity of the story (which is always influenced by cover) do not have any bearing on the selection of winners, it is purely a writing contest. I just want it to look nice and your image was very pretty. Plus hands are thematically relevant to my story because the character is a magician who has a deformity in her hands that makes her different from the other magicians, but no less capable. Anyway, if you want me to take it down and use something else as the image, please let me know. Until then, I will use the cover and make sure to give you full credit and provide a link to your deviantart page. Your photography is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it!
