Their undying courage leads their people to daring deed and bloody demise.

They obey the pharaoh proudly, whose teeth and claws are their blades. They despise the gnolls and are despised by them in turn, adversaries evermore as with the lesser lions and hyenas. They themselves were chosen from their fiery goddess's greatest lion prides, ascending to sapience and human-like shape to stand among men. And for their bravado, their history is deeply entrenched into the Beast Wilds as a whole.
