She had just descended the roof.

Dude! That looks like the cat I was going to adopt from the animal shelter, like, ten miles away from my town, except it was a boy and his made was Desmond. But, my mom didn't want another animal in the house and we already have a dog so... but these cats are just so darn cute!

Calicos/torties are nice..It is very rare indeed to get a male with that colour though because of the genetics.

Oh really? I didn't know that! It must be a recessive gene, then. Calios should be mixed with torties more often, that's for sure. ^^

That cat looks just like the cat "Willow" we found in Ohio.

Is Willow a lost stray? Emily was a stray, interestingly enough.

Yes and we asked the person managing the cabins that we were staying at to put her and her kittens up for adoption. She was very good at climbing. I'm going to compare pictures right now.

Nope, she has more black on her head than Willow. That would have been sooooo weird if it were.

I am sorry for Willow I really hope that she and her kittens find nice homes. Emily was in that position not long ago herself. If it is not too much trouble, I would be interested to see a picture of Willow.

omigosh... um, would it be creepy if I asked if you lived in Wisconsin or Illinois?

No, of course not. But I live in the UK. Why do you inquire?

lol, I used to have a stray named Cali. She's looked very similar to Emily. My neighbors caught her though and they put her in a shelter, she got adopted 3 days later. (We had been caring for her for 4 years) Every now and then I wonder where she's at.
