Wow. So sorry for the unappreciative comments, Marco. I hope you'll forgive them. I myself can salvage a lot of ideas and emotions from this image. I have a strange phobia of "clusters" (seriously) so I am repulsed by the image, and by that I mean that it's enormously interesting! The hive of windows filled with ghosts and forbidden places have succeeding in uprooting my personal comfort. While the residents go about their lives, possibly unaware of the chaos, the viewer is able to behold the truth from a more withdrawn perspective. Disorder indeed. It has certainly made me think about what it means to live in it. Thank you for the grand piece of art, and many congrats on the DD. You really did deserve it.

This is so visually interesting! It's fun to look in the windows and see what there might be. Where was this taken?

Faved...
Many many thanks for this picture...
for the time and space travel I had in it...
Photography:
All is there...Exclude...pick point of view...
Drawing:
Empty paper...Include what you want...
This is a nude picture...nude architecture...
no veil or disguise...
Functionalism or funkis...very few hints...
a Raw picture: Wysiwyg...2D even...
We have to use our imagination...
to bring colours of life into this...
Disorder: interresting but not in the slightest...And then again: Great great as title...!
Looking at the comments...it really hits hard on some...
Art or not art: Personal statement...!
tells All about the speaker...nothing about you...
Take what you want from these your comments...and..."keep'em comming"...!
Greetings Jakob.

the deviant isn't the one who awarded themself the DD so posting something like this is unfair, you should take it up with who awarded the DD if you have an issue with it

uhm im not sure i understand what you mean, i thought the DD are awarded to those who get alot of apreciation from other users not just by being recommending by someone

DD's aren't awarded to people based on how popular their art is. There are a select group of people on dA who have the responsibility of picking out what they think is exceptional art (which can mean many things -- not necessarily technical ability, or uniqueness, or whatever). It might have 1 view and 1 comment, or thousands. To argue over whether a picture or artist "deserves" a DD is like getting pissed over everyone on the kids baseball team getting a trophy at the end of the year even when they came in last. It's not like it's some internationally recognized award that grants the artist a bazillion dollars and unquestionable title of "Artist of the Universe." Sheesh. XD

A DD can be suggested by just one or by hundreds of people, whether it get's awarded or not is down to the DA mod with the privileges to do so. If that mod has decided that it is worthy of a DD and thus awarded one, is it not better to take up any discrepancies you have about the decision with said mod rather than putting the artist/photographer down by saying that 'in your opinion their work doesn't deserve it'. That is what I meant. It is very unfair to the one who is happy to have been awarded such a thing.

I am not saying that you have no right to state your opinion. You simply went about it the incorrect way.

I totally agree. I find that a lot of DDs are unworthy and that there are a lot of other people that deserve a DD and more attention.

Just because you don't understand it and can't see its worth doesn't mean everyone feels that way. Art is subjective, your opinion is not the end-all be-all of opinions. I understand you're just voicing your opinion, however, your comments are more about the reward and not the art itself, and therefor are not very constructive. This is why you should message the person who recommended the DD, which you can find out just by reading the DD under the description.

well i was trying to refer both to the reward and art type itself, sorry if i didnt do it properly, also i believe i have the right to express my opinion.
also one person recomemded it to be DD, and thats all it takes for it to become DD, a single recomendation?
to be honest im not sure how DD system works, still i believe ppl need to like the art for it to become DD no?
and i am surprized to see so many ppl thinking that its like a WOW thing, i mean he has other better submits in his galery why this? what do they find so amazing about this? im just curious, i want smoeone who finds this fascinating to explain to me and mayeb i could apreciate it more idk

Well, personally I'm not into it. However, I do have a open mind and I do like actually trying to see what is there instead of just jumping up and getting angry.
Architecture IS an art, tell me have you ever seen a building with such randomly spread windows and window sizes? I certainly have not, it is actually really fascinating to see. The lines and the building is so unique alone. Even though it's a crazy spread, it's somehow even too. It's interesting to think about living there too, how many windows would your living room have?
It also hits hard on people with OCD phobias. This image may not appeal to you and that's fine, but it does appeal to others and the big issue I have with your comment is you don't think it deserves a DD simply because >>YOU<< don't like it. Yes he may have other/better submissions but it doesn't devalue this one.
The DD system is very simple, someone simply refers it and then an admin decides if it should get a DD.
Just as you have the right to express your opinion I have the right to express my opinion on your opinion. ;D

Interesting photograph, but definitely not something DD worthy. This is the problem with modern art, anything can be passed off as art these days by simply inventing some "deep meaning" in the title or description. Case in point "Fountain" ([link] ) submitted as a piece that took the piss out of art was suddenly considered as art even though it was submitted as something to make fun of the rest of the stuff that was also considered "art".

Something not being DD worthy is exclusive from someone deserving a DD (or not).
This is just one of his works (not particularly his best either). There are plenty better pieces in his gallery.
