Very, very beautifully done. The only thing that could make this even better than it already is, is just a touch of darker contrasting here and there and finer detail...which would require more time and patience. You did a wonderful job and brought out that handsomeness in him we all know so well.

Thanks so much for the input. I find myself shying away from dark contrast. Just afraid I'll mess it up and it's so hard to remove. But will definitely give it a try.

Awe, you're welcome. And really, you don't add all the contrast all at once. You do it in stages, rather, layers. You just keep adding a little bit of contrast at a time and as you do, your picture will progressively get darker and darker in the spots you're layering.

I'm not always confident in myself either when it comes to my art projects so to help myself I always test out the technique I want to try on a separate piece of paper, not on the final piece. If it looks good on the test paper, I then take the technique over to the real project and apply it.

If you're drawing this well why being "shy", then I can only imagine how staggering your abilities will grow should you shew away the shyness and welcome in the inhibition. You'll do great I'm sure!
