Just when i thought the torture was overthe name calling had stopped
i had finally buried my demons and self conciousness
when i thought people cared and were truly my friends
but that horrible nickname haunted me again "fat girl"
ythey laughed when i walked by
they didnt know my pain
what it feels like to sew up your insecurities onlt to have them bust out again
my parents called me beautiful, my real friends called me skinny
but that horrible nickname stayed in my heart, always there to remind me of my weight
"fat girl" they called me "elephant woman" they jeered
they stomped on the broken glass that was my heart and unshed tears they didnt care
I joked about my weight trying to make it seem like i didnt care, like it didnt hurt
but it did
I thought of myself as the others did "fat girl" i thought i could only ever be that fat girl
I wished i could escape myself
I wished i wasnt fat
the saddest thing was i believed them, i didnt fight them because i thought they were right
but what they didnt know was that "the fat girl" now hated herself inside
