well it was supposed to be for the kick your own ass contest but the stupid DA wouldn't let me submit it, so i'm pretty pissed off about thatthe title is a part of a song called the jetset life is gonna kill you
the drawing is a part of one large group drawing, but i've been too busy to get it done,due to exams & it took longer than a fornight
the paper size of this drawing is between A5/A4 which is part of large group drawing which is in an A2 format ( this is my first time working in a A2 format ) & one thing is that with 30cm ruler, it's a bitch to get the grid right which took a day & 3 days for lineart of the group & 2 days to draw this part & the pencil eating background & i should invest in a 60 cm ruler
so far i have used :a 30 cm see through ruler, faber castell eraser pencil & a steadler eraser pen, stunmps, mech pencils - 0.3mm hb, 0.5mm 2h, 0.5mm B, 0.5mm 4B, 0.7mm F & normal pencils - derwent/steadler pencils - 9h (i was trying the denting techinque for flyaways ), b, 2b, 3b, 4b & a 6b graphite (used for large areas) & caran d'ache pencil crayons (in shades of blue, green, brown & black) & paper - a daler & rowney A2 fine grain drawing paper

hmmm at least 9hrs (lineart & grid - 18hrs (3.6hrs each), face - 3 hrs, hair - 2hrs) , the irises look weird to me but i'm just happy with the hair but gridding method doesn't work with me anymore, so i will just freehand it, the only good thing is that the paper lines don't show up on this paper whereas the other paper i use the lines show up when shading
