I kinda felt reluctant to post this... but i'm doing it anyway!
I believe our minds are filled with colors and we assign specific colors to specific things according to our perception. Same thing goes with feelings. For me the colors of sadness are very vibrant but dark. High in contrast and almost scary. It feels like a highly saturated nebula. I can't really explain it but it's never dull or pale for me.
