There are just some days when the "rule of thirds" just makes absolutely no sense-not only is the color awesome here...being a line/curve lover, this photo really draws myself, the viewer in...the light off the tree trunk on the left, is what I'm noticing as the highlights seem to flicker-even in a still like this...the stark trees in the foreground-the more full ones in the background, the juxtaposition of the walkways, the shadows on the ground...this is an awesome composition-as well as being just an overall good picture...I would surely hang it on my wall with pride, if I were you...

Thank you. I am honored. The lighting was so beautiful that day. This is at my son's elementary school campus. I had my camera (of course) and took two photos and was really happy with this particular one. I appreciate your kind words.

Very well done...(sometimes the best shots are "what we see") I'm a minimalist...one or two shots...If I didn't get it...then I would be spending frustrating hours trying to "find" it amongst the clutter...
