Description so i spent today making this and taking snapshots of it all throughout the making,
then came up with the plan of making a tutorial.

it's a simple enough piece to make for those who are new to sewing, but you still gotta be able to know your way 'round a sewing machine.

Ok I'm dumbing down step 4 for myself so after you sew the ruffles in the skirt you fold the shorting peice of fabric inhalf then Β sew the peices togeather right?

when you're done step 3, you have two pieces of fabric, the upper flat part of your skirt and the lower ruffly part of your skirt. step 4 basically tells you to sew the two together. nothing is folded in half, you just put both pieces together so that the sides that are facing each other in the two pieces placed together are the sides that will be the outside of your skirt

Well this will be perfect because I hate using patterns. A skirt's rather simple so this should be good...
...when I finish my cosplay I'll send you a link to the photos.

I really hope I'll get to try this!
I've been a little obsessed with making skirts lately, and when my mum spotted some tartan fabric in boyes I knew I had to search for a tutorial for something a little different.
