Seriously, go read it, because it's fantastic. And...it features great art by Keith Thompson. As in, a book with pictures! Didn't know how much I missed having pictures in books until I started reading this.

Dr. Nora Barlow is a scientist and the granddaughter of the one and only Charles Darwin. She works in genetic engineering, coming up with the greatest and most incredulous animals. (Although the one I drew isn't one of them...Tazza is a tasmanian tiger, a species that is now extinct, unfortunately).

Drawn in pencil, then coloured with water colours. I used some references although I really can't remember where they were from... except for Tazza, seriously, long live wikipedia.
