hi all, hope you are all doing well!here's princess irulan corrino (as portrayed by the amazing florence pugh) in a watercolor painting that i then took to photoshop to add the background, the shadows and the blur effect... even if i don't go for likeness, i still want my piece to be as faithful as possible to the original reference image... also i just knew i wanted to draw her as soon as i saw the gorgeous blue embroidered gown she's wearing
i'd be lying if i say i know much of "dune"... i know the david lynch version wasn't that well-received but it still somehow became a cult classic, but i do love and admire denis villeneuve's work ("blade runner: 2049" and "arrival" are two of my all-time favorite movies), so he definitely was one of the main reasons why i decided to watch his "part one" of "dune" and now i can confidently say i definitely want to check "part ii" soon
