My sister ordered a commission for me, and it's been almost a year and NOTHING. Every time I walk by a certain place in my neighborhood, I think about Mark and how he's doing on the commissions, and then I rage because I didn't realize that it's a SCAM. I'm sorry, but it's so frustrating that we loose money for something that was really important to us!! If you are reading this Mark, PLEASE 1)finish your work as promise because it is not ethical as an artist to do fraud and steal, and 2)if you don't intend to do the work, SEND OUR MONEY BACK, cuz that was expensive!!!! Did you pay with Paypal? If so, you can file a case with Paypal to get your money back. Mark doesn't communicate with customers well so the chances of him sending your money back on his own are slim to none and I don't think he even looks at comments.

I'm in the same boat. It was a birthday present for my son too. A family picture. He was consistent with emails and getting details for the piece until I paid the money. Nothing since then. I also opened a PayPal case and sent him requests to respond before I escalated anything.

I don't know if its called "private".
I asked him in December 2014 for an Commission and I told him my DeviantArt-Name, too. (I sended it via E-Mail).
And first he really answered fast, but after the payment I never got any answer back.
After some months I sended an E-Mail again... but no answer.
And then I tried it with a Note and even with an Message in his Comments-Section on his profile.
But he NEVER answered me on anything ^^
And I don't think I'm able to get the money back, after that long time... PayPal has a limit for this, I think.
I never thought, that someone like him could be a Scammer... and I just thought "Okay, he has many other commission to do, surely I will get mine soon as possible"... but now I'm not sure anymore :/
