Description
This was originally an easter-type egg that I purchased at Goodwill and it was in poor shape. I painted it with a metallic red paint and champagne gold paint. I added rhinestone encrusted filigree to it and then painted a small wood piece which I attached to the top. In the wood piece rested a crystal and two gold filigree flourishes were on the sides of the top. The egg opened up and inside it was a miniature lamp and a miniature scale. It was a gift to my mother and the lamp represented her light and the scale was because she is a Libra.
