Description Had to paint from a specimen at art school a few years back, but i have a phobia with butterflies and moths so i freaked out but did it in about an hour. Wings are ok but the body is rough. Painted in gouache on illustration board.

Thank you for commenting, the painting had to be the same size as the specimen so it's the same size as the image on my page. It was painted with a windsor & Newton series 7 No 1 brush so was able to do fine work. A lot of dry brushing and blending.
