You can consider this as a very strange reverse dynamic, in which 14-15~ -year-old Pico has the terminal stage of being childish / not understanding adult things (on the art, Pico does not "love" BF unrequitedly; he sticks like that to everyone, expressing his sympathy), and in which the BF had already planned his life at the age of 13-14 ~ and this "nuisance" does not interest him at all (i.e. Cassandra can have him).
P.S. Pico will become taller.
