Big Big mess. we were having so much fun when he was teaching us to do this and we were walking around walmart thinking about what we could buy to make splash it was fun. I am going to buy a flash so i can do this more often.

you should make splashes with apple jones soda, cause its a really pretty lime green... that would make me happy

can I ask you what shutter speed did you use?

i used 1/125 because i was using flash but because i was using flash so then the duration of the flash becomes the shutterspeed. if you use any higher one then there is a line across the photo. 125 is usually the sync shutter speed for flashes.

Cool, I love the action you have going on here, with the red liquid and the falling drops! The "small-scale" texture of the splashing liquid in the glass looks cool, too!

Awesome. I like that you got such a pastel color

yeah that was because the water was colored. I could have gotten neon food coloring but that was more expensive.

in this shot the flash is on a stand behind the subject and shot through a diffuser it is a q-flash
