I rewatched the first Land Before Time movie some nights ago because of nostalgia, and by that it's honestly one of my favorite movies ever. Another reason is that I finally found a version that has Dutch dub. I'm pretty sure the English version is amazing as well, but nothing will ever do it for me like the Dutch dub did. I'm always in for some extra feels hahahh..!Fav if u cri everytiem :C :C :C
No but really, not gonna lie, I just can't not cry with this scene(I HAVE TRIED BELIEVE ME I HAVE TRIED), it just happens. Every. Damn. Time.
I have no idea whether it's nostalgia or if its just something this movie has, but its the most heartbreaking and sad thing I ever watched. In a good way of course. Even though heartbreaking, it's beautiful, and it focuses on hope instead of grief. I love it.
Just to be clear, this drawing was made as a tribute. I'm not trying to get attention for what I find sad or worth crying about or not. Everyone differs in that so that's literally bullshit. It's a tribute. That's it.

I should rewatch it too. It's been almost ten years ago I think I saw it, hopefully I can find a Dutch version too. Fladder's voice was just too awesome

I know right! I'm often surprised by how well Dutch voices seem to fit in animated movies/series, like how do they find those perfect people even..

Yeah, indeed. Though sometimes it can be quite the opposite. There are certain movies I just can't watch in Dutch because of the voice actors. You also can hear a large difference sometimes between Netherlandish Dutch and Belgian Flemish.

Definitely true. I remember watching some really fake and emotion-lacking voiced movies/series, as well as some that try too hard and end up sounding way overdone. There can be such extreme differences.

Yeah, I don't know if you've seen the Dutch and Flemish version of Disney's Dinosaur? The Dutch really is one of those emotion-lacking ones compared with the Flemish one imo.

I only watched it in Dutch, but I personally really liked that version. Although this might be because I don't know the flemish one, or maybe because I'm so used to always watching it in Dutch.
