If you would accept a technical note, the green is pumped up a bit too high and it pulls away from the cat - - meaning the eye first and foremost sees the circle of green rather than what is inside.Β As a graphic intention that's fine. Its a great image. But since the photo is a part of a series about the urban cat, one would expect the cat to be the core element.Β Its interesting and poignant to see a cat curled up as it would be on a pet owner's favorite chair but instead placed on grass in the open.Β The cat is the story.

If I may, I disagree. After all, the white cat is the brightest object in the image and that's where my eye goes first. What I think might be missing are these amazing cat eyes Khuram so wonderfully catches with his series. So yes, I agree with you, the image is missing something, but I don't think it's the grass that is distracting. Β Just my opinion, of course!!!

makepictures is right. The version you saw is the updated one which I uploaded 20 or so minutes before you commented on it.
Here's a side by side comparison of both versions. Notice how the green in the left picture looks almost cartoonish?

I've been looking through your urban cats folder. So sad that they don't have homes. I adore cats and my own cat Loki is so spoilt. Yet these poor cats have nothing. I hope people help them out by feeding them etc.

Dunno. One night I was reading a chapter from the Old Testament about manna from the heavens, and the next morning I went out for a stroll and was shocked to find Dubai covered in large patches of this green stuff. Bizarre indeed!

See, that's what you get for not reading the bible enough..If you want to see something really funny, check out Iryna's Jewish Birth of Christ video on FB..I think that's what it was called..I know 2 things for sure, well maybe more, but when I was a little kid,Β 4 or 5 at most, my family moved to MD from Florida. The only pre-school around was Catholic. Just having to kneel and pray scared the crap out of me. Then, when I was paralyzed at 49, the ambulance took me to Holy Cross Hospital. I regained consciousness long enough to see the huge cross and request to go somewhere else..lol.. Β
