Description
I used to live two houses up from an old antiques dealer named Summerfield. He hated to sell anything so his shop and house and garden and everywhere got filled up with objects. When he died the auction of his stuff took three days and that was only the better stuff.
After he died every one claimed to have been his friend and said how wonderfull a man he had been. In truth, no-one had much to do with him and generaly thought his was mad and that his garden ought to be cleared up.
This drawing was based on his garden ...
It makes a double page in my drawing book hence the faint mark down the centre where the pages meet.
