I have just "Googled" Paulines' name in an attempt to find some independent info. for you. She has her own entry in the Wikipedia which seems to have all the basic info. plus a book list.
I think her poetry is excellent but then i am biased as she is a friend! Not sure about comparing her to Angela Carter as I havn't really been inspired to read her to deeply. Pauline is more often mentioned alongside Ted Hughes if that is a help to you. Nothing beats reading the poems themselves though. There is a "best of" out in paperback

let me know what you think when you get to read some. There does seem to be a couple of poems "on-line". , if you google her, you should find them.
