I ordered a little wacom intous tablet because it was really marked down on amazon. However I don't think I will ever be able to afford to buy Adobe Photo Shop. Even if I had that kind of money my wife would not be happy. So I am really interested to see what can be done with it. I looked through your gallery and I really like your work and your artistic style.

I'm sure you'll love your wacom, it's a good investment

Artrage can do digital and traditional styled paintings very easily, you can do anything you like. Some tools need tweaking but you'll quickly find your comfort spot. Give it a try and have fun with it

thanks, actually Artrage does have a very good pencil tool, but funny enough they don't have a pen!!

Yeh, I know. But for me the pencil is still not quite the same as the real thing.

As for a pen, well the feltpen isn't too bad -- put the "Artpen" setting on, set the wetness for 0%, softness for 0% and you do get a decent pen for inking purposes. Apparently Artrage3 will have an improvement on the pen setting (as well as watercolours ) -- in the mean time, it is something to try.

oh I know that trick already. I just think it's funny that they don't actually have a pen. I still find the felt pen does not give enough variation to the lines. I also will use the pencil tool on full thickness to simulate a pen, depending on what effect I want.

Can't wait for Ar 3!!!
