I have to say my fave champions have to be Mipha and Urbosa. I kind of wish they would have explored that motherly side to Urbosa more, it's like Zelda had a mom to look up to when she doubted herself. Man Urbosa needs way more love! ( And I have to get around to the dlc )

Oh you're gonna love the DLC then! Urbosa's song is definitely my favourite; make sure to read Urbosa's diary and, after finishing her quest, defeat her Divine beast again to hear new dialogue up to five times (I'm not sure if you can do it straight away as I did it after completing all of the Champion's Ballad). Her final comment is so touching and I assure you, she's the mother figure Zelda needed and more.

I agree with MaskedGolem, I don't know why people sexualise such a great character...

I don't know if they'll get revived but I'm curious as to what they'll do with the story

same. I just hated when I found out that Link and Mipha had a thing then she was killed by that freak!! That is the only Blight Link had an enraged face while the others....not really. I was like "Oh my gosh!! Link and Mipha DID have a thing!! TIME TO KILL THAT FREAK FOR KILLING THE CINNAMON ROLL!!"

Urbosa is actually my favourite character; she's so well designed and she's so sweet and strong.
I like to call her Lightning mom

Urbosa is, in a way, the new 'Impa' of Breath of the Wild; acting as a mother figure to Princess Zelda the way Impa usually does, whereas the ACTUAL Impa of this game is instead around the same age as Link and Zelda (despite the latter two retaining their youth for a century), which makes her more like one of their peers. Kinda unexpected, but hey. It works.

Yeah I thought the same thing since Impa is one of my favourite characters throughout the series and I immediately noticed the similarities. There's just something a lot warmer and "motherly" about the way Urbosa acts (especially communicated through body language) towards Zelda which I think is very sweet. Impa has always been a little bit more of a "tough love" and down-to-buisness sort of person which I don't think would have worked AS well with BotW Zelda's personality; she already had that from King Rhoam. Even without much screen time, you could tell that Urbosa was one of the only people Zelda opened herself up to and it was really noticeable how comfortable she was when Urbosa was around.
I love this game because the more I think about it and play the game, the more I notice all the little hints that piece together a really beautiful story. I can't wait for DLC 2 to come out as I am genuinely invested in the story of the Champions.

I agree; I feel like it was criminally overlooked. Glad you like it!
