There are entire genres where basically everything is stolen. A good example is celebrity photos. I am not aware of any celebrities advertising on DeviantArt.

I remember this one person here named Ilovevoreeven11/FoxyGirlDoesArt (she made a second account to attempt to ban evade) and she stole art from google images, put it on her account, and said "CREDITS TO ARTIST! IM ONLY SHARING THE ART I LIKE". she was also like 11 and posted a nude "BCUZ IM LESBIAN" so yeah she got banned

Haha you know, some people used your artwork for their desk or put it at profil pictures. They just don't talk about who made this. Is that him, is that you? They just pick it up on Google Image, that's it. I see a problem with the fact they say by all private or public way they product your artwork, but if they don't know your name, I don't see problem to used it if you give access, IF they respect the fact they will never appropriate your works. After that, if we are obligated to popularize and remember each author we take from Google Image to used the image, I disagree. It will be a world where we need always to remember each images we used for personal reason and I don't want that. Surely, if we use professionally your artworks, we will always need to ask to you, I agree, but if they print it to put in their chamber and need to mention every artists on their walls, nope, I disagree. In private life, for me, they just need to say it's not from them.
So, to resume, for me, the obligation should be to never appropriate your works, not obligated to remember your name to make publicities for you.

Well, for one thing, I've personally come across many times whenever I wanted to look for the source of an artwork but without much luck myself, in which I now realize how much crediting can be useful to others who were also in the same boat.
After all, you would want to find the original sources of certain artworks you really like, right? This is why I and most other artists normally write our signature in our artworks, so that those kinds of people can find the sources of those works, and maybe become future fans later down the road if they want to enjoy more from them.
You're right. You're not obligated to remember my name through my artworks, but for the sake of others who wish to find out, I still believe it would be very appropriate in this case. I mean, regardless of whoever enjoys my creations, I'd still most prefer you DO credit, which is why I made this stamp in the first place.
Then again, people like you should be smart enough by now to know where certain artworks originated anyways after a little bit of research.

Normally I ask for permission with other people's art anyway for that exact purpose.

There's something I wanted to create something big, but I think I need to have your permission. (Such as mentioning your name)
Either way, this art I just got done sketching, mind if I mention your name on my sketch?

I am already a credit nut; I believe in authors so any masterpiece done by them should AT LEAST be rewarded with potential new fans. Maybe that's why I also believe people claiming oher's work as their own is some of the most coward acts out there.

So we just have to mention that the content originated from you and/or whoever else?

Yes, but you'd also be much better off with the original artist if you also ask permission from them first. Some artists may require that.
