WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!I´ve finally done this super ecpic picture, with ALL versions of Kankuro with his beloved puppets so far.
This picture is double-dedicated to mah 40th kiriban AND my TWO YEARS of being a dA-member!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I´m really happy how FAR I already came and improoved mah skills (as I guess for sure).
Like Kankuro in the Naruto-story did a huge development, I also feel the same like me.
(Hope you too. XDDD)
Well than I also tried to surpss mah coloring-style in this picture compared to my previous ones.
And the many black parts (thanks to Knakuro) have been the overkill for my poor pencil. TT___TT
But it´s worth for this picture. I also LURVE to darw his precious puppets and the cool wood-pattern.
Hope you also can feel my joy of this picture and this special day.

This looks really great! Kankuro with his many different poses and face paint and his nicely drawn puppets and their designs look amazing! The soft sand background is a nice touch, it gives the picture more depth including the light shadows. Overall it's a very well done drawing with some fantastic coloring! Great work~

Oh for real? (sarcastic tone) I am happy that I see more puppeteers characters in animations, that's positive since been a puppeteer sometimes people see it as a kids thing. Like a very old lady puppeteer say to me once: Been a puppeteer is something serious and I agree 100% with her ^_^ take care! comrade Master Kankuro...

I´m ahppy taht around teh world there are still people like you, that person and me. ^^
Hmm...I also don´t like that marionettes are "degraded" to a children´s toy.
Sure there are many vers simple build ones, but they´re still quite fragile and at least the strings are the most damageable part of them. ^^

Lori Chan... that was a very old women who have a store in a Mall in Florida and was going to open a puppet theatre, I did not have the chance to help her but she inspires me to make my first marionette... which I do not have a photo yet. But yes, is interesting to think about that, we can make serious sketches with puppets, even for adults why not? Here where I live there a sadly famous puppeteer, he a high rating program in which the puppet talk about everyone, mainly gossip. People "hat it" but he always have high rating, a total contradiction... also I admire him because he is a puppeteer, but I cannot cover the truth, sometimes he say a lot of lies. But is entertainment for adults, not kids... and it makes me laugh too, here is 2 links. They also mimic this puppet in another comedy program. ^_^ see ya!

Yeah I also noticed that in the age of today with al the computer stuff and so on it´s pretty hard for traditional puppeteers to earn enough money.
I also ahve an article about an old puppeteer who was forced to move away because of the new air-port, which is is currently planned to build in Berlin.
That guy has a very impressive collection of puppets and he lived in a house where he made/restored the most by himself.
So with the low income and new falt he neither has the space nor he may can pay the rent for the flat.
I´m really sorry for him.....

Thanks for the story Lori chan... is sad but interesting to share such stories. The puppeteer I show you have been working on programs for years, so just a few years ago he have a good deal of about half a million dollars... I guess... or more, so I think is one of the few puppeteers who have a good salary ^_^ sadly he does not do too much for others puppeteers or to use his influence in programs or events related to the puppetry. But we gonna do something, little by little. I make a story about puppets and some interesting ideas about human feelings... see ya!
BTW The guy i sent you the link is like Sassori... hahaha but Sassori is deadly, that's the different, this guy have a deadly tongue only

Well even I still consider my puppetry more as a hobby I´m pretty proud about what I already tought by myself.
But I also know that I still have to learn alot. Newertimes I read an interesting article about a chinese puppeteer, who said that there a real master learned nearly his entire life long and already started with 10 or 12 years...I only started with 16 years. 
Hmm...that article is from a german newspaper and I doub that there´s an english version of it....

Hahaha that's right, but is a story, they can be bad and still have freedom or no conscience. In real life there are too many sad stories that's why I like to be realistic with humor... here is a link of my puppet, yes, is not professional but I have fun. The boy is me, the girl is my niece, she is gonna be a puppet master in the future ^_^

No... I have to be very talented to do such puppets, I buy the girl and my brother give me the boy as a surprise first. I have lots of fun with them, my niece even love to make stories, but I did not put her on a video because I do not like to expose her... remember, I am the star here hahaha ^_^ see ya!

I find that interesting that he changes the outfit and face-paint-style.
But I read that it´s mainly because Kishimoto-sensei simply was to lazy to draw the very fisrt version again and again, because it´s quite a complicate style.
So he had a good "excusion" that kankuro always s´changes his style, when an improovement happened to him :3
