Description
Several days ago, after being exhausted from my stupid day job, I opened SAI in attempt to draw something useful. Lately I have been overly excited with the Ready As I'll Ever Be MAP project and thus had cats on my mind. I was also pondering why the internet loves cats so much, and thus I was inspired to sketch a random kitty. After I added the fluffy tail my brain kept thinking Squirrelflight, so here she is. XP

No reference was used in making this for the drawing or light effects or such. Just all from the flow of my memory. I did google a quick reference of Squirrelflight for the flat coloring to get an overall idea of what to do. (Mostly analyzing the ones from Squirrelflight's Lionheart MAP and GinjaNinja.) However I ended up creating my own color pallet for this drawing and only used it as visual reference.

Ironically, I've never read Warriors or had any interest in the fandom. I've always been more of a dog person (though I love cats too). Plus as a child, when the books first came out, I kinda raised my eyebrow at the overall concept of glorifying cats fighting each other. I have greatly appreciated the Warriors fandom with their animations and drawings. (They are the most active group of animators on the internet it seems.) Though that RAIEB MAP just blew my breath away and I started researching the stories to find out more about these characters as I was that in love with this MAP.

Long story short this is how I got addicted to Moonkitti with an I, as in I kinda had a slight change of heart I guess. ... Also all of my knowledge of the books is mostly from Moonkitti videos. I had no idea cats used chainsaws to kill each other....
