Original Character Concept.

My Archangel Azrael (i.e. no affiliations with any religion).

Azrael really likes Solmun —a holiday very much like Christmas, minus the “Christ” part of it, of course. He is one of the youngest of the 12 Archangels who rule Naraan (Heaven). He is also the only one of the the 12 who is half-angel, half-god. His father is Rahmvar Darkhæl, one of the five gods in my pantheon, ruling over the Shadow element, death, rebirth, and the ‘Grey Places’ (with other words, Hades).

How do you differentiate between Gods and Angels in your story? Is there a dossier you wrote somewhere about this storyverse?

He reminds me of Pitch from Rise of the Guardians, except less gloomy.

I really need to watch Rise of the Guardians! If there is a character similar to Azrael out there, i want to meet it. XD
I actually realized when I finished the sketch, that the lower left corner profile portrait reminded me a lot of Saix. Particularly the facial structure. I did not mean to create any resemblance to anyone, though.

He has a certain boyish charm that's really lovely! I also like his more androgynous features (as opposed to the chiseled ones of the other Archangels)

Ooh, I never saw Rise of the Guardians, but I'll totally check it out now. When I finished the sketch, I realized that his facial structure in the lower left corner reminded me very strongly of Saix from Kingdom Hearts. XD It wasn't my intention to create any resemblance though.
