what's not to like. it's adorably childlike in the way you cut out shapes and chose colors/patterns - yet very sophisticated in the way you present it as a whole. perfect mix as usual.

there is a type of music called musique concrete (or, as you know, concrete music). it's basically tape-recorded sounds (birds, cars, talking, etc) in which the tape is later cut and spliced together to form a musical composition which may then be looped or manipulated further.
I don't know if those cats meowing christmas carols would fall into that category (perhaps technically) but the product is often quite different from traditional, mainstream music though it has been used within more traditional recorded music.
