If I made drawings of all the windows I could see from my home there may be two different sorts. One after another, just alike. Who would have thought window frames could enrich a life? So nice to see your drawings. You make beautiful lines.

oh mathilde. i am in love with this. this is the kind of thing that makes my stomach float. is it really that beautiful where you live? so much variety and detail...all those pretty little railings and balconies. i would love to live somewhere like that. your style is just so nice, mathilde. i really really love this... it's like a little paean of scopophilia, and a perfectly exquisite peice of design at the same time. -kisses her cheek overcome with happiness-

This reminds me of the time that i was in Paris. i was staying in this hostel for a week, and every morning, i'd wake up to someone playing violin. It was the best thing to wake up to. I'd always look out the window to see if i could see someone playing in the building across from the hostel. It was just a scatter of windows.
Thinking back to those moments breaks my heart.
