6" x 4.6" - Watercolor & Colored Ink Pen

I love carolina wrens. They're tiny, bossy, and LOUD. They may not be as colorful as cardinals or blue jays, but their personality makes up for it.

This is a piece I did for my grandpa back in 2011. As he loved the watch birds, I'd try to send him a watercolor of a bird for birthdays, if he's recovering from surgery, etc. This one was one I forgot to scan before I sent it in the mail, and only now, after re-inheriting these cards back after his passing last spring, am I able to scan it.

This was actually done by a photo I myself took, which unfortunately was of very low resolution.
