"Count Vadim is dead. At long last, another Vampyr lord has been laid low by my hand. The lord blessed me with these gifts, and tasked me with destroying the beasts of hell, but it seems I am loosing strength. To be surrounded by such terrible, evil, insidious demons has begun to drain my will. I must carry on. I ask the lord to give me strength to carry on this final task.
