It did! Made good sales, had a great time doing sketches, and got to chat with Kaye a bit. (He said his favorite part of the drawing was his portrait on the cards.)

Thank you! That was definitely a fun part of it. It worked out really well, I think, that BW Megatron's CGI look lent itself to a painterly style in the foreground, while everyone in the background is flat colors and hard outlines. Glad you dig it!

I know who's missing, Hardshell from Prime and Warpath from Animated.

And Animated Highbrow, and RID Hammerstrike and Slashmark... but that would've been a really crowded table! In retrospect, it might've been better if I'd had each of the five characters represent a different series... but oh well, it's done and printed. On to other things!

I can totally see that little maniac just grabbing the coins and cards and zooming off. It's pretty dangerous for him since everyone else is big enough to just step on him. I also love how Grimlock is holding the cards in his mouth.

Thank you! Though in my head, he was the one who DEALT the cards in the first place. He knew that the identical hands would create an argument and give him the distraction he needed to bag up the coins and bolt.
Also, glad you dig Grim's card-holding method. I assume the reason there are only three is that they're tasty.

I didn't even notice they had the exact same cards. lol Armada Megatron is going to start shooting up the place trying to catch him, I bet. And he's the REASONABLE Megatron.
To Dinobots, I bet everything is tasty.

Thank you! Well spotted on the Golden Disks, and good point about Hardshell. But what you don't realize is that the moment after this, when Megatron is offscreen, Hardshell emerges from the darkness under the table and gives chase.
(Certainly I didn't just forget about him after doing the research for this piece, and then come up with an ad-hoc explanation when you called me on it just now. Definitely not that!)

Of course, you wouldn't. Otherwise, you'd be mighty foolish for forgetting an important detail like that as minor as it may seem. X3
But seriously though, joking aside, this still looks absolutely amazing and a great tribute to David Kaye's characters. With or without TFP Hardshell.

That was a particularly fun part of the drawing. Especially with everyone else being so flat-colored, that ridiculous Transmetal sheen was an amusing contrast.

Thank you! You're the only person so far who's said anything about the coins looking like chocolate. They're actually Golden Disks , but given the size difference between Beast Wars characters and other TFs, they would be coin-sized for most of them. I needed a see-through bag for Megatron to be carrying them in, so I decided as a joke to go with the mesh kind that chocolate coins come in. Well spotted!

Np! XD Yeah as a kid, I'd always see chocolate coins in mesh bags like that, it was only when I realised that they're actually a multitude of Golden Disks... Whoops. XD David Kaye's voice as Megatron gives me the shivers, as in it gives me the feeling that this is an antagonist who will stop at nothing to see his enemies destroyed and his plans come to fruition... I love that about his acting as Megatron the most. ;u; The voice of power he puts in Megatron.
I forgot the concept of the Golden Disk, but then again I dunno if that was in BW1 (There's a Takara BW2 and NEO continuation hence why I said 1.) or if that's supposed to be in Beast Machines... :c But you're welcome. XD All the chocolate (Golden Disks) coins!
