He looks so beaten; torn between turning around and going on. I love how you made the clouds the biggest thing. It brought into perspective just how small this man feels himself to be right now. Show, don't tell, my teacher always said. And you did that.

I saw in 2DA ... and then wondered why the hell you are not a featured artist. My heart literally stopped when I saw thie above picture. Β Amazing. Β The clouds are gorgeous. Β The composition is perfect. The small details with just enough highlight to the pommel to draw the eye to the Stranger while simultaneously allowing them to fade into the foreground. Β Truly a great study for others in light.Β

Thank you very much! I typically start with thumbs and/or a sketch, work loosely in color early on using brush work (Photoshop), and fine tune the details near the end. I am always experimenting with different techniques as well.Β
