Nice subject, i photograph old doors alot..
I'd like to see some more detail though, i'm not saying that i don't like the composition, cause i do, and i find it to be very coherent along the series, though i like to see the cracks on the wood, and the paint wearing off, etc, i like to see detail, and these old doors are certainly a very rich subject on that perspective. About color vs black and white, well, its not an easy decision, but sometimes i find color helps understanding texture better, though black and white, specially in high contrasts, makes it easier to work as a series, and sometimes add to the feeling of portraiting old subjects.
Still, i liked this, keep em coming!

thanks for your critique. some colors are too strong on these doors, they would draw the attention away from other parts. i don't think i will do more compilations like this in the future, my focus remains on single pictures.

ich mach die s/w Konvertierung aus dem Grunde immer erst ganz am Schluss im Photoshop, und auch da nur als Einstellebene

I love old doors, they have so much character. The black and white adds to the character. Great collection.

odd, but brilliant.... doors can seem so mundane but put together like that, it really works.
