Well, it's actually pretty damn bad, honestly. You are forced to remove all emotion, becoming what Sai is now. He had a brother, you know.. he was forced to murder his own brother to become an Anbu, and he couldn't back down. But his brother was already dying of illness at the time, so plot twist.

Heh this ambu leader is in reality brother of that guy who tought naruto where and how to pick the prohibited jutsus... Remember? On the comece of naruto when he gets to learn the kage bushin one of the forbiden spells and gets covered by iruka because the evil guy tries to kill naruto. Naruto gets angry because iruka got injuried and naruto kicks the ass of the evil guy using 1000 kage bushins... Now u guys remember? This ambu leader will do something to get his brother's revenge on naruto.

This all very unsettling... some guys are testing mind controlling masks and now Naruto joins the ANBU who wear masks at virtually all times... Aw man, this might get dangerous...

wait... masks... *gasp* The evil dudes were usin' masks to control their soilders & every single Anbu is required to wear masks. The evil dudes were talkin' about havin' the best soldiers & the Anbu are the most elite ninja. What if the leader of the Evil dudes is an Anbu. If they could alter the masks so that they resembled Anbu masks & switched them out, then the evil dudes would, theoretically, have complete control over the EVERY Anbu. That's just with your 'typical' Anbu, can you imagine the damage they could do if they had an Anbu-trained Jinchuuriki in their ranks. What's worse, the Jinchuuriki of the most powerful demon of all... besides the 10-tails...
