omg, this lovely took me all day to draw. There goes my homework. There are so many fab pieces for this guy, I love looking at all of them! This was my first time drawing a Mantibab and I really loved every minute of it. I made his hair dual colours (yellow on one side, blue on the other), as I feel that fits his colouring design. I added stars and spots (that are accessories! not new fur/marking additions) because he is obsessed with the nighttime/space/star constellations.

Name: Kishan
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Personality: Adamant, Competitive, Strong Willed and Fearless

Biography:
Kishan was found abandoned in a mossy grove in the woods by a very large Caravan. They took him in and he was raised by the elders in the Caravan. Because of this he has a strong respect toward those older than him. Kishan knows little of his young life, because he was found as a baby, but he strongly believes his biological parents were killed and had to leave him behind. He will never believe they truly abandoned him.
At a young age, Kishan became fascinated with the night sky. He would sneak out at night and stare at the sky, hoping to get a glimpse of a shooting star. The elders would scold him when they found he was out in the dark by himself (being a younger, not yet fully developed Mantibab). One elder, though, took into consideration Kishan's fascination and taught him the constellations of the stars.
As he grew, he learned to be slightly arrogant because of his beautiful appearance (and constant praise from others), but he's very kind and gentle once outsiders got to know him. Kishan is extremely speedy and agile, therefor very good at sports. Growing up, he loved competing against other Mantibabs in the Caravan, and even sometimes Mantibabs in other Caravans as well. Occasionally Kishan might have had a brush with other Mantibabs his age, because of his strong willed personality, small scuffles would ensue. Though usually harmless and brief.
At Kishan's age now (nineteen), he is no longer arrogant however he still enjoys a good competition and has a lot of bravery and will. He will always stand up for what he believe's is right, and has many friends that will back him up when necessary. The leaders and elders of his Caravan believe that one day he will become the new leader of the Caravan. Kishan hears bits of conversations between the elders (being close to them because they raised him) and leaders about him someday leading the Caravan, but he doesn't know if that is exactly what he wants for himself. Many other Mantibabs in the Caravan believe he has a bigger destiny in store in the future.

Extras:
ahhh, these are bits and pieces that didn't really fit in the bio but I imagine would be added to his character:
He is very good at navigation, especially at night because he can see the constellations in the sky.
I imagine him having an arch rival in his Caravan. Growing up as a competitive Mantibab, he has a rivalry with a top competitor and holds grudge with that someone. I'd like to picture Kishan's close group of friends and his rival's friends always competing and occasionally throwing in small cheats/sabotages when they are racing/competing (often resulting in fights). Kishan is the leader of his friends and his rival is the leader of his own friends - which I could see one day his rival is also considered as a candidate for leader by the elders and leaders (maybe the two have a showdown and have to fight for it).
I'd like to talk about a special lady friend that might one day (or already has) cross his path. I think Kishan would lose his arrogance because of a special Mantibab that would keep his tongue tied and his normally sure self would stumble a bit around her. I picture his first date with her as him waking her up at night and getting her to come out in the dark and he takes her to one of his favourite star-viewing spots. He shows her the stars and tells her about the different constellations.
Lastly, I would like one day for him to learn about himself being a 'blessed child'. Blessed by the Bab God, Weiss, and finally find out what happened to his parents - and learn of his twin self. He is obsessed with stars as a result of being blessed by the Bab God. I imagine him going on a journey with some of his closest friends from his Caravan to discover this.

And alas! I really wish I had more time to draw more of this lovely bab. I have so many more ideas! I would love to see him in some hipster glasses and create outfits for him to wear (especially winter outfits! I love winter outfits).
